There are many situations in which a rented skip bin from a refuse removal company could be very useful. Here are two such situations.
1. You intend to organise a festival that will generate a lot of rubbish
If you have decided to organise a festival, then it is important to draw up a rubbish disposal plan well in advance of this event. This plan should include hiring several skip bins from one of the refuse removal companies that operate in your local area. The reason for this is as follows; any type of public festival will generate a large amount of rubbish; this rubbish may come in the form of plastic and glass drink bottles, food packaging and food debris, discarded tents, sleeping bags and inflatable beds (if it is an overnight event that features a campsite), used disposable plates, cutlery and cups and cigarette ends, along with a plethora of other items. As such, those involved in the post-festival waste collection process will almost certainly accumulate dozens and dozens of rubbish bags.
If there are no skip bins in which to put these bags, they will have to be left in a pile somewhere on the festival site until you or someone else involved in the organisation of this event can obtain a vehicle large enough to contain these bags and can then drive this vehicle to a refuse site to dispose of the bags. This could cause a whole host of problems. For example, some of the filled refuse bags that have been left in the pile could end up being blown away by the wind or being ripped open by nearby wildlife, in which case the scattered rubbish would have to be picked up a second time. The process of obtaining a large vehicle and then transporting the rubbish could also be inconvenient, time-consuming and messy.
If you want to reduce the number of items on your (undoubtedly very long) to-do list for this event and ensure that the waste collection and disposal process is carried out quickly and efficiently, then you should rent skip bins for your festival. The bins themselves will ensure that the rubbish that is collected will remain safely and neatly contained, whilst the collection service provided by the refuse removal company will mean you won't have to deal with the hassle of transporting the rubbish to a refuse site.
2. You need a way to dispose of a specific type of refuse that you are not allowed to put into your household bin
Depending on where you live, your local authority who organise the collection of your household waste may have very strict rules regarding what you can put into your household bins. They might, for example, forbid residents from throwing dismantled old vehicle parts (like tyres, car panels, chassis parts, etc.) or renovation waste (like rubble, broken window glass and flooring materials) into their bins. If this is the case and you attempt to put forbidden types of rubbish into these bins, the rubbish will not be collected, and you might even receive a fine.
In this situation, the best solution would be to use the services of a refuse removal company that rents out skip bins. You can toss all of the rubbish that your local authority does not allow into your household bins into these containers and have the company handle the disposal of this refuse for you.
